Showing Off

So Thelma is a star - well I am too. We had a visit from the home team this week which was lovely. We were standing in our stalls when suddenly The Vickster, The Mrs, The Gaffer and The Extra Man appeared out of the blue. It was really nice to see them all and naturally they made quite a fuss of me (and Thelma). Tom was there and explained all the work that I had been doing and how well it was all going and, all in all, gave me a glowing report.

He then tacked me up and led me up to the lunging ring where I strutted my stuff and showed how well I had learned everything and what a good little mover I am. I think I looked very grown up with my saddle and everything on, and I have to tell you they may have filmed Big T but I was the first one to have the roller and saddle on, so I am just as much a star as she is! I think the team were very impressed with me and what I was doing. When we finished I showed them how good I am in the horse walker as well. In fact while I was going round I watched Thelma being put through her paces in the ring which is right next door. I must admit that she looked quite good as well as she went through her paces and seemed to know what she was doing. Then as soon as she had finished she joined me in the horse walker too.

I must say seeing the gang made me realise what a lot we have accomplished in the short time we have been here, its all been a real whirl of activity but we know the routine now and have really settled in quickly - something I couldn't have imagined as we loved our last home.

Before they went, I heard Tom telling the folks that the dentist was coming to see us next week - why do I think that this is something we might not like? Was it the face The Gaffer pulled or the tone of voice? Mind you, we didn't think we'd like having our feet done - we'll have to report back once he's been as this will be quite a new experience for us both.

Now I know you have been used to our little weekly letters but as we are now sooooooooo busy, its hard to find the time to put our thoughts down. So we are going to have to space things out a bit so we can fit writing into our busy diaries. Just to warn you then , we will be keeping you posted, but not until the 7th of November, when we have a window in our schedules!!!!

A bientot. from a happy and very busy Louise
