Christmas is coming and the goose ........

Can you believe it - Christmas is here again - so we both send our greetings to everyone for a very happy Christmas and New Year. We are both soooo looking forward to 2011.

We have been taking a things a bit easy for the last week or so as we have both had little colds. Nothing serious, but Tom has put us on the easy list until we are quite better. Actually, because it has been so cold and snowy, we probably wouldn't have been doing too much anyway as everything has been frozen solid for days at a time - boy oh boy are we pleased to have our rather snuggly rugs to wear - without those, things might just be rather on the chilly side!

Now we are looking forward to our Christmas lunch - which brings our old pal the goose to mind. Really we were wondering (or at least I was) if his goose has been cooked so to speak, and he's going to be someones Christmas lunch? Lou thinks thats rather mean, but thats the way of the world!

Not only do we have Christmas to look forward to but on January 1st we have our official birthdays as well - we will become two year olds - us, can you imagine it..... that means that this year we can go racing! It seems like only yesterday we were two little girls fresh off the boat from Ireland and now look at us. Lou Lou and I were both measured last week and the little one is not so little anymore! She is now measuring a good 15.1 and I'm over 15.2 now, so although she has caught up quite a bit I'm still keeping ahead - I expect I'm due for another growing spurt quite soon - I really can't have her catching me up.

The New Year sounds as though it will be exciting for us, as I've heard Tom say that we will be off to our trainers - that WILL be interesting - not that we haven't had a lovely time here, but we like change and new things and can't wait to see what next year will bring. Could we be coming soon to a racecourse near you? ....Ascot, Newmarket,Sandown, Epsom ............who knows??

While we dream, both of us wish you a Happy Christmas and New Year - see you on a racecourse somewhere we hope.

Love from Thelma and Louise (aka Primacy and Fleur de la Vie)xxxxx

PS - We'll be back to tell you all about our Christmas excitements just after the New Year.
